North American Chess Association
Hello everyone!

The organizing team of the Greater Midwest Classic (Fred Gruenberg, Glenn Panner, and Sevan Muradian) extends our thanks and gratitude for your participation in our inaugural event! Without players (and parents!) like you, great events like this would not be possible!

It was a pleasant weekend seeing old friends and making new ones. It's what chess tournaments should be about (aside from pushing pawns!).

The event was rated last night and the link to the crosstable can be found here:

A full list of prize winners can be found here - http://www.nachess.org/classic

Congratulations to all of the winners for their hard-fought victories and well deserved prizes!

As we announced during the event, this same team of organizers will bring you the Greater Midwest Class Championships Nov 29-30, Dec 1, 2013. This is the weekend after Thanksgiving.

The event will feature a $10,000 Guaranteed prize fund with a 3-day and 2-day schedule. Already we have local legends Grandmaster Dmitry Gurevich and FIDE Master Albert Chow confirming their participation! GM Gurevich will also be performing a simultaneous exhibition during the event! 23 people have already signed up for the event! The event registration website will be up in a few days athttp://www.nachess.org/class

Once again - thank you very much for participating in the Greater Midwest Classic and we hope you will join us again at the Greater Midwest Class in November!

Best regards,
Fred, Glenn, and Sevan
