The Championship will be held over 7 rounds of Swiss system and in three sections: Championship, Open / Major and Minor.
Henry Golding Chessboard Trophy will be awarded to the Welsh Champion.
Rate of Play in all sections: 40 moves in 90 minutes, followed by 30 minutes to finish the game, with an increment of 30 seconds per move from move one.
